About the role
You are the technical face of Yobitel during an enterprise evaluation. You will lead discovery, design the target architecture, deliver the proof of concept and hand over cleanly to the team that implements it. When a customer's engineering leadership asks a hard question in a room full of stakeholders, you are the person who answers it.
This is a pre-sales role that demands genuine engineering depth. You will be talking to people who write the code today and who will spot a rehearsed answer instantly. Expect a mix of architecture design, hands-on proof-of-concept building, and the translation work that turns a business problem into an infrastructure design that will actually survive production.
What success looks like
- Proofs of concept complete on schedule and prove something the customer genuinely cared about.
- Implementation teams inherit a design they can build without renegotiating it.
- Customers treat you as a technical advisor rather than as part of the sales pitch.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery alongside the account executive, and qualify technical fit honestly.
- Design target architectures covering deployment model, integration, security posture and data residency.
- Scope and deliver proofs of concept with customer engineering teams, typically over a four to six week window.
- Present and defend architecture to technical stakeholders, including sceptical ones, at every level of seniority.
- Respond to security questionnaires, architecture reviews and compliance documentation requests.
- Hand over to the implementation team with documentation complete enough that nothing is renegotiated after signature.
- Feed recurring technical objections and capability gaps back to product and engineering.
Requirements
- An engineering background with real production experience, rather than only pre-sales exposure.
- Working knowledge of AI and machine learning deployment, covering inference serving, model lifecycle and the practicalities of GPU workloads.
- Strong grounding in cloud and container infrastructure, including Kubernetes and networking fundamentals.
- Demonstrated ability to present credibly to senior technical audiences and handle challenge in the room.
- Experience designing for enterprise concerns such as security, compliance, data residency and integration with existing estates.
- Hands-on ability to build a working proof of concept yourself rather than only specifying one.
- Excellent written communication for architecture documents and formal responses.
Nice to have
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation architectures earned by shipping them rather than reading about them.
- Familiarity with regulated-industry requirements in healthcare, financial services or the public sector.
- Exposure to on-premise or air-gapped deployment models.
- Existing relationships within the NVIDIA or hyperscaler partner ecosystems.
